Casutele Din Moisei

Our family of four, with kids aged four and six, stayed five days in June in a triple room in one of the wooden houses, and we really enjoyed it. The bathroom was on the small side, and there weren't many options for bed numbers and combinations, but those were minor drawbacks. The owner was kind and helpful, and spoke English, which is generally rare in Romania. The location is great, away from the noisy center of Moisei and close to the monastery, with parking and a possible view of part of the lovely Rodnei mountains. It's a beautiful group of old traditional and newer wooden houses. Our room looked stylish, was comfortable and clean, and there was a small shared kitchen as well as laundry service. The price was reasonable compared with other accommodation options.
