Hotel Agora

The pool area was lovely, with plenty of canopies for shade and clean water. The location is alright too, within walking distance of the beach, though right on the main street. Parking is free, but finding a space can be tough on busy days. Our apartment looked clean from afar, but up close it wasn't. There was hair from previous guests on the bathroom sink and in the shower, and the kitchenette sink was full of water that wouldn't drain. The regular bed was very comfortable, but the sofa bed was awful. It was so uncomfortable you couldn't sleep on even half of it. A foldout bed or a mattress on the floor would be much better.

The beach was about 15 minutes away, which was the only downside. We treated the walk as a good chance to reach our step goal 😊. The rooms were clean, the staff polite, and the pool was nice. Being pet-friendly is a big plus here. We'll definitely come back.

The walk to the beach takes 15-20 minutes, but it's a really nice one. Everything else made for a great stay: the staff were professional and caring, and the self-service breakfast had lots of tasty choices. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, with a terrace. There’s a big parking area and yard, plus a play area and pool for children. Our room was one of the smallest, but still worked for a family with a kid. It was very clean and quiet, even with the balcony right over the pool. In Belgium, I think this hotel would get four stars.

We had a really enjoyable stay. It's a proper three-star hotel, and you get what you pay for, with a little extra.
