Hotel Proton K3

It’s cheap, but you get what you pay for, and I wouldn’t recommend it, even for a two-star hotel. The room was small, the bathroom even smaller, and the shower was connected to the sink. Smells travel between bathrooms, so if someone smokes, you’ll smell it. I was scammed by fake pictures when I booked through booking. At the hotel, the place didn’t match the pictures, and when I tried to check them through the link I’d booked with, it didn’t work. I had nowhere else to go, so I had to stay. One really important thing in summer: there’s no air conditioning. The nights were horribly hot.

I love this place. Me and that guy in the yellow bathing suit, along with the giant life saver, hang out under the awning and talk about the Pepsi sign. It gets deep. Why is it there? What about Coke? Why’s it round? We spend hours at night discussing it. The sea’s a short hike away, and we get lots of cat calls in our speedos. We know people are waiting for us to come out of our oh-so-comfy room, and they always give us a big smile. Oh yeah, the room is okay.

Never again. I felt unsafe because of the sleepy floor, the gaps under the bathroom doors, and too many steps. Seriously, the health or safety department needs to check this hotel ASAP.

It has everything you need. The host was great, very helpful, nice, and kind. We’ll definitely come back.
