This feels more like staying in a big home than a hotel, with huge dining rooms and a charming, if rather over-the-top, traditional Romanian decor that makes for good photos. It was clean, the hosts were friendly, and the Wi-Fi worked well. I arrived in midwinter without a reservation after an app issue, and they called their English-speaking son to sort things out so I could have a nice room and breakfast.
It's a working farm, so you can get a close look at Romanian farm life, with cows, a tractor, scythes and rakes. Traditional costumes are on display too. The rooms are comfortable, and there's homemade food. The hospitality is incredible, and they'll invite you to try their homemade drinks.
The family knows the local culture and places to visit, and were really informative. They make fresh milk, butter, bread and traditional dishes. Rooms are large and clean, with good showers, and there is parking on site and Wi-Fi. Thoroughly recommended.
A lovely spot, very clean, with generous amounts of really tasty food. There are lots of homemade things, including bread, butter, sour cream and different drinks. The hospitality was great too. I recommend it 🤩
The owners are very welcoming and happy to help if you need anything. The village setting is lovely and quiet, with nice places to visit nearby. Their homemade food is great.
