The big bathrooms were clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. I also loved the tea collection, the best I saw in Romania. Dana and Alex are superb hosts, and their cat is super cute. I booked one night and ended up staying three. This was my favorite hostel in Romania during my month and a half there. I stayed at both hostels in Oradea, and both are great, but I preferred Traveling Ladybug. I would have stayed longer if I didn’t already have plans. It’s airy, spacious, homey, and comfortable. Oradea is a beautiful city, and I liked it much more than Cluj. But if you want to spend the day relaxing at “home,” there’s a great book collection, lots of board games, and a restful garden and porch. Thanks, Dana and Alex, for a wonderful stay :)

The garden and patio are lovely spots to relax, the place is clean, and the dorms are spacious. The beds are the sturdiest and quietest I’ve ever come across. You can tell Dana and Alex drew on their own travels to think about what hostel guests need. It had been open for less than a year when I stayed, and it was already the best. Town is just a five-minute walk away. Oradea is highly recommended too. It felt like a fabulous home away from home.

The beds had some of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve slept on in a hostel. Staff were really nice and helpful, and fun to spend time with. The atmosphere was great.

The hosts greet you with a smile and such a warm welcome. The place is in a lovely location and has everything you might need. I’d absolutely recommend staying here in Oradea!

A sweet, pleasant place to stay, about a 10-minute walk from the train station and Shoumall Carrofour Supermarket. The hosts were really friendly and told me everything about the place. Definitely recommend staying here.
