Grand'Or Business Apartments

The location was convenient, with the shopping center about a 10-minute walk away and the main plaza around 15 minutes on foot. Parking was available, collecting and returning the key through the mailbox was easy, and the price was affordable compared with other places nearby. The refrigerator was nice, too. The stay had a lot of problems. The apartment smelled of cigarettes, likely from past guests or nearby residents. The sofa looked worn and was uncomfortable, the mattress was lumpy and squishy, and there were only two mushy pillows. No drinks or water were provided. There was no shower curtain, so I had to mop the bathroom after every shower. The hair dryer started smoking and smelled like burnt rubber, so it couldn't be used. With the wet floor, that felt especially dangerous. There was no iron or ironing board either, and I only found out the morning of a business meeting, so I had to wear a wrinkled shirt. Dogs barking through the night kept us from sleeping, and the WiFi was weak. An empty plug-in air freshener had been left switched on, which seemed like a fire hazard, so we turned it off and removed it. There weren't enough towels; after we contacted the host, more were left on the door handle the next day. We also had to buy toilet paper, since only 1.5 rolls were there, and paper towels, none had been provided. Kitchen utensils and dishes were very limited, mismatched and chipped. The foyer ceiling lamp was dangling.
