The reception staff were pleasant and helpful, and there was a beautifully cared-for cat there to greet guests. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had working air conditioning, though the bathrooms were only average. Our bathroom drain smelled unpleasant, and the toilet paper ran short and wasn’t replenished during our stay. The large hotel, with so many rooms, felt a bit like a maze. Breakfast was a letdown: just two kinds of bread, sausages, eggs, some ham and cheese, and two juice options, neither of them 100% real juice.

The beds were a little hard, but the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with tasty coffee and juices. We appreciated the quick, smooth check-in, late arrival option, and free parking. The location was great, about a 10-minute walk from the city centre. Nothing especially memorable, but everything was at a good standard for a short city stay.

The hotel itself was okay, but the way some staff treated us put me off returning. I’ve stayed here four times before, and that careless attitude toward service and clients, especially in Romania, made me decide to look elsewhere next time.

There’s parking for a car or coach, the staff are friendly, and the rooms are fairly spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness in the rooms could be better.
