Transit

The food has always been delicious when we’ve stopped by for lunch or coffee, and the staff are so friendly. We recently held our baby’s baptism party here, and it turned out just the way we wanted, with plenty of food choices and drinks. We also had a room, which was very clean, with a comfortable bed and no noise from downstairs. Thanks to all the staff for everything 🙏 I highly recommend Hotel Transit.

Breakfast was good, with a varied spread of eggs, bacon, wurst, cheese, cold cuts, fresh vegetables, yogurt, butter, jam, juice, milk, and cereal. Coffee and tea were made to order at the bar. It was the same each morning, so it might get boring after 2-3 nights, but the French toast was a standout, even compared with some 4-star hotels. We only ate breakfast there, so I can’t rate the restaurant otherwise. The double room was spacious enough, and the bed was the best mattress I’ve ever slept on. It was quite firm without being rough, and good for my back. The air conditioning worked. The shower head is fixed, which is fine, though we prefer a flexible one. Staff behavior and cleanliness were both beyond reproach. Soundproofing is almost nonexistent, and we could hear the maids talking as they cleaned other rooms in the morning. Nights were quiet enough to sleep without any problem. There’s plenty of parking, and we never saw it full during our three-night stay. By car, though, you can only turn right when leaving the lot. If you need to go left, you have to take a roughly 4 km detour, about 2 km each way, to the first roundabout on the "Centura" road.

A handy stop while travelling. The room was fresh and clean, and nights stayed quiet despite the busy road nearby. Staff speak a little English, and the restaurant menu is available in English. The electricity in my room did go out a couple of times, but came back soon each time.

The hosts were kind, the rooms clean, and there’s a restaurant and bar where you can get a beer late at night if needed. I’d recommend the motel, though the beds felt small and the quilt was even smaller. It kept slipping off me on the slick sheets. The bathroom tap leaked, possibly from poor maintenance, and the toilet had a very awkward lever on the water pipe instead of a regular tank. It was hard to operate and made a terrible noise whenever pressed, a cheap solution, perhaps, but a poor choice.
