FAST Airport Hotel

Such a bad hotel, more like a motel. We bought a coffee, and it smelled like noodles.

The beds had bed bugs, the AC didn’t work, and the room smelled of cigarettes. It was a nightmare. I was travelling with my family and three kids, the youngest only 1.5 months old. The owner picked us up from the airport, which was 7-8 minutes away. We’d agreed by phone on $100 for a studio, already incredibly overpriced, but when we arrived he asked for $150 for another room. We had no choice at 3 am.

The sheets were dirty, and when I asked the owner to change them, he lied and said he had. The same hair was on a pillow before and after. I’m 100% sure they only brushed the visible body hairs off and pretended the sheets had been changed. It was maliciously gross, with a strong cigarette smell and, inexplicably, a fish smell too. If they’d lie after I’d inspected the sheets, can you trust that yours will be clean? Avoid it. I had to spend €54 on a new room at 11 pm. Save yourself the hassle and money.

I paid in advance for a room, but when I arrived they said nothing was available and wouldn’t refund me. They showed me their app to prove there were no rooms, though I pointed out it showed spare rooms. The guy said I’d have to pay extra to stay, more than triple the original booking on top of what I’d already paid. I ended up with nowhere to stay late at night in a new city.
