The airport shuttle was useful, and the hotel is conveniently close to the airport. There’s a small gym and sauna if you have time, plus one shared ironing room for guests. The view over the highway was impressive, and the WiFi was easy to get connected to. The nearest train station is a five-minute walk; central Bucharest is about a 30-minute drive, and Therme Spa about 10 minutes. We didn't enjoy our stay. The room smelled stale, and the heating blew cold air, leaving us cold, especially at night. The bathroom extractor fan didn't work either. The room was quite dirty, with coffee stains on the table, visible dust on the bedside area and lamps, and mould in the bathroom corners. We left a sign asking for cleaning, but the bins stayed full and the towels weren't changed. After asking at the desk directly, they cleaned it the next day. Breakfast looked tasty on the first day, but the eggs, bacon, sausages, and baked beans were cold. Staff tried to turn up the food heaters after we asked, but the food only became lukewarm. If you're hoping to explore more of the area, we'd recommend staying in Bucharest Old Town.

Getting around was easy, with a bus stop practically in front of the hotel, and the airport close enough to reach on foot. Everyone on staff was kind and helpful, especially Radu. He patiently answered all my questions, was always friendly and professional, and checked in regularly to see if I was comfortable. Since I was staying quite a while for work, that genuine attention made the visit much more pleasant.

I had a really enjoyable stay and would happily return or recommend the hotel. It was spotless, charmingly decorated, and the staff were courteous and helpful. Most spoke English well. Breakfast had a generous continental selection, made-to-order omelets, and was delicious. My room was spacious and well equipped, with twin beds that suited my solo trip. The windows shut out the airport noise nicely. The AC, TV, kettle, and shower all worked without a problem, and there was also a well-equipped gym and a relaxing sauna. The location is about a 10-minute drive from the airport, with a free shuttle for arrivals and departures. They let me into my room right away even though I arrived a little before check-in, and gave me a complimentary bottle of water, much appreciated in the 30-degree heat.

For an airport stay, the shuttle is important: the hotel isn't within walking distance. Call when you arrive and ask them to pick you up, then book your return ride in advance. The room met my expectations and was properly accessible. Wi-Fi worked well throughout the hotel, and the price felt fair for the service. There's a decent restaurant for dinner; breakfast was okay, though nothing special.
