Taxi Hostel

The only real plus is how close it is to the airport. We stayed because nothing else was available for a reasonable price on our dates, but otherwise we would have cancelled. There are other places only a little more expensive that seem much better and are probably clean, especially if you book ahead. I wouldn't go here. It felt like a scam and false advertising: the listing calls it a 3-star hotel on both Google Maps and Booking.com, but it was a rundown hostel with almost no service. We had to phone the receptionist to get him to come out and greet us. The property and room weren't properly cleaned. We had to clean the bath ourselves, and many stains remained. The neighborhood felt pretty bad, with actual shacks right beside the hostel and a couple of small concrete buildings that looked abandoned. The bath was tiny and had no curtain, so we had to crouch to keep water from spilling out. The toilet was worse. It wouldn't flush properly, and my crap stayed at the bottom throughout our stay despite repeated flushing, so I used the shared toilet whenever I needed to go.
