Dany Rent A Home

I've stayed here four times and would come back. It's spacious, sparkling clean, and nicely furnished, with breakfast and water left in the fridge. Check-in and checkout are simple since you just use the codes, with no keys to manage. There's a coffee machine, and they leave enough pods even for a one-night stay. The building faces the main road, so it can get noisy, and the curtains don't block out all the light. An eye mask does the trick.

Daniela is very helpful and handles requests quickly. There's a spacious bedroom and living area, plus a bathroom of decent size, but the kitchen is tiny. Although the bedroom has a double bed, cooking even a simple meal for one was a struggle. There isn't much cupboard room unless you want to put food beside the bin, so dry goods end up taking up the worktop and make cooking harder. There's ample parking, but the building sits on the corner of a busy main road. The angled spaces make parking tricky, and getting in or out can be difficult either way. Traffic is loud even at night because the windows aren't double glazed. I've heard horns a few times between 22:00 and 06:00, despite their use being illegal in Romania during those hours. The location is good otherwise, with the centre of Pitești a ten-minute walk away and lots of restaurants about five minutes away.

A very tidy, comfortable apartment with a responsive host and convenient parking. The internet and TV are great quality, and it works especially well for families with children.

There's a parking space, and a food shop nearby. The road close by makes it noisy, but in general it's a good place.
