8/10
The room was clean, with a great mattress and pillow, and the staff were kind and very helpful. The location was nice, right in front of a big supermarket, though the restaurant and bar area was a 30-minute walk away. The bath handles were uncomfortable and the toilet was small. We added breakfast. They made an effort to provide it, but it really didn’t suit our taste, so I wouldn’t recommend taking the breakfast.

The shower barely worked, and there was no soap for washing hands or showering. The blankets looked about 20 years old, and the rooms smelled of smoke. Even though we booked two weeks ahead for a wedding, the mini fridge had been unplugged to save electricity. Plugs were sticking out of the walls, with filthy extension leads right beside the pillow. And there was a cockroach in the room. Absolutely shocking.

The room was okay, but the awful smell throughout the stairways and other areas was hard to ignore.
