Only the newer annex was open when I stayed, in what had previously been a Hilton. The rooms were modern and good, and the WiFi worked well. It’s perfectly reasonable for a small industrial town. Outside there’s a public car park, free from 18h to 7h, or you can pay through an app.

Being in the city center doesn’t earn this place five stars. The location can’t make up for the poor service or the low quality of the stay, and I can’t really call it a hotel. Breakfast was poor, the tablecloth looked old-fashioned, and the furniture seemed straight out of the Ceausescu era. Staff weren’t qualified to handle some mansions, and the place was dirty with poor maintenance everywhere. I was very disappointed, so I changed places and won’t come back. I strongly don’t recommend it.

From outside and in the foyer, the hotel looks very shabby. The rooms, though, are spacious and updated, with very good facilities. There’s no pool, and the gym is adequately equipped. The bar is poor, and the restaurant was barely open. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

The rooms are good, but I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore. You can’t open the windows, and the water tap was in really bad shape. I couldn’t get the shower running, and during my whole three-night stay the bins weren’t emptied.
