The staff were friendly and helpful every time, and the food was very good at breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also really enjoyed the pool and both saunas, which are included in the room price. The room was okay, but the bathroom was quite small and the shower was a bit awkward to use because of the space. It’s a nice hotel, I’d give it a 4.5 if I could.

I was there for a few days on business and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is in a splendid location with a superb view of the nearby mountains. The renovated rooms were clean, comfortable and looked very good, while the reception and restaurant were chic and tastefully decorated. The staircase could use a little attention. Food was very good and the staff were friendly.

The warm welcome from the staff made my stay at Alpin Resort Hotel in Poiana Brașov especially memorable. Everyone I met was professional, friendly and ready to help, and that Romanian hospitality really stood out. I loved the mountain setting and the hotel’s elegant design, surrounded by greenery. My room was spacious, spotless and comfortable, with beautiful Carpathian views. The premium linens and complimentary treats made it feel like home. There’s a lot to do nearby and at the resort, from winter sports and nature walks to a quiet glass of wine by the fire. It’s only minutes from the ski slopes, with peaceful forest trails around it. The restaurants served fresh, locally sourced food, mixing Romanian dishes with international cuisine. The breakfast buffet alone is worth the trip. The spa felt like a lovely retreat after skiing or hiking, with heated pools, saunas and massages. Alpin has something for couples, families or solo travelers. It’s a place to enjoy comfort, activity and relaxation in the Romanian mountains. I can’t wait to return!

The location is good, and the soup was good too. The rest of the buffet was disappointing: the meat was very dry, and the sliced food was boring. The building feels communist era and hasn’t been upgraded. I wouldn’t stay longer than one night, it isn’t worth it.
