The apartment interior and the balcony view were good. Getting up to the house is another story, with a roughly 45-degree climb, and we were short on towels, toiletries, and sheets. The staff only got in touch after the negative feedback. I wouldn’t recommend it unless your car is up for that steep uphill drive.

Fresh air, peace and quiet, and spectacular mountain views. Predeal doesn’t get much better than this.

The apartment was clean and nice, and the setting is beautiful. Getting there is a little tricky, though: the alley is narrow and steep, which must be especially hard in winter. On our last evening, rain was falling and the forecast called for below-zero temperatures, so I was worried about leaving the car in the parking area.

The apartment had tasteful interiors and well-chosen furniture. It was equipped for a longer stay, with all sorts of utensils, central heating, and a washing machine. The place also has a wild, beautiful setting. Still, the steep slope means you can’t drive up to the parking lot, it’s fairly close to the main road, and communication with the administrator didn’t work. I had paid for the reservation through "Booking", and those issues took away from an otherwise respectable stay.

We had a generous terrace where we could relax with friends, and a mountain view from an extraordinary apartment. Superb location.
