The heated pool was the main reason I booked, but at 10:30 it hadn't been cleaned, there were no fresh towels, and used ones from the day before were still at reception. There was no service. At over 200 euros a night for an apartment, that's not acceptable, and neither is that level of service at any hotel. The location is great and the place has real potential, but the service is poor for the price. I hope management sorts this out. I can't recommend a stay with service like this.

Breakfast was fine for one morning, but staying longer meant the same food every day, and some items seemed to be leftovers. I had also ordered two bottles of Prosecco through the website when booking. They didn't have them, so they brought the cheapest wine on the menu instead, which cost less than what I'd ordered. I wasn't refunded the difference or given anything for it. The balcony room on the first floor also had a constant cooking smell, from things like fries, eggs, stew, and steak. There was no AC or ventilation, only a ceiling fan, so opening the window was the only option, and not at 4 degrees Celsius. The bathroom was tiny and cramped enough that turning around could hurt. Sitting on the toilet put me right beside the radiator, which couldn't be turned off because the water tap didn't work. It made the bathroom like a sauna, and I could burn myself on the hot pipes if I wasn't careful. The cheap plastic shower didn't seal properly. With the waterfall setting on, I had to stand with my back against the plastic to shower. The water swung between scalding and freezing, took ages to adjust, and if I turned it off to use shower gel, I'd end up freezing or getting burned. The massage setting didn't work either. The bathroom fittings were cheap plastic, and there wasn't even space to put a shampoo bottle.

We left the day we arrived, furious at how badly we were treated. I came hoping for a calm, relaxing mountain holiday, but the welcome was awful. At reception, Diana and Alina were rude, didn't know how to treat customers, and wouldn't listen to our situation. They also refused to give us the manager's contact details, which felt very suspicious and was completely unacceptable. We were put on the third floor of the "boutique building." The bathroom was so tiny that even a normal shower was impossible without bending over, and I'm only 1.57. I can't understand how the hotel got permission to build it that way. For such an expensive room, I expected decent service, but the whole experience was terrible. My boyfriend and I left angry and promised to tell anyone thinking of staying at this hotel in Predeal what happened.

For the high price, this was a huge disappointment. Getting into our room took ten minutes each time because the card and code didn't work properly. Nobody came to clean, and we ran out of toilet paper. The bathroom was extremely cramped and the shower was almost impossible to use. Breakfast was okay-ish, but nowhere near great.
