The room we were given was small, with just a double bed, even though we’d booked for three adults and a dog and paid two months ahead. The lady said that was what we’d paid for, but our confirmation email clearly listed the booking we’d made. We were asked for another 200 lei to get a larger room, and the conditions weren’t anything special. The bathroom radiator and toilet paper holder were rusty, and the window wouldn’t shut properly. We won’t be coming back.

The guesthouse needs renovation, and I’d rate the cleanliness 2/10. Our booking and advance payment were for an apartment for three adults, but on arrival we were first offered a room for two. Dansa said we had paid the double-room price and that the apartment wasn’t available, though we could get a room for four adults for an additional amount. I checked Booking and found only a small price difference between what I’d booked and what Dansa told us. The host also reproached me for not calling to reconfirm. I’d booked in advance with payment on the spot, and wondered whether she would have called to ask if we were still coming had I not paid. I posted pictures showing the price differences: the first is from Booking, with a reservation for three adults and two nights, and the second is from travel mint, where I booked this guesthouse.
