The accommodation itself might have been fine, but the experience left us feeling unwelcome and excluded. Nobody on the hotel staff spoke or understood English. In the evening, Romanian guests got dessert, while we were told there was none left and offered only drinks. If you don't speak Romanian, this probably isn't the best place to choose.

It's a little out of town, which suited us since we wanted somewhere quieter. The staff were very friendly, and it's close to the papusa lift for skiing.

Cabana Parâng in Novaci has a peaceful feel and an authentic mountain charm. We loved how clean, cozy, and well-kept the rooms were, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with traditional and international options, especially the omelettes and local cheeses. The terrace has wonderful panoramic mountain views, particularly at sunrise and sunset. Whether you're there to rest, hike, or just enjoy the fresh air, it's a lovely place for a mountain break. Highly recommended for a visit to Novaci, Parâng!

We nearly kept Cabana Parang to ourselves for a little longer, but it was too lovely not to share. The terrace was a relaxing spot with a great view, and we enjoyed chatting with other visitors there. The staff member who welcomed us showed us to our rooms and later served us, and the owner was friendly and very outgoing. Our rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We'll tell friends and family about Cabana Parang. Don't hesitate to book!
