For the price, I expected much more. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to the ski slope. The reservation was a mess: they couldn't find mine despite my booking.com confirmation, and eventually gave me a tiny room with a horrible view. The place felt kind of dirty and unkept. Only two people in sweat pants were handling reception and the restaurant, which didn't feel professional. Guests and workers smoked in the small entrance doorway. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets worn out, and the towels very small.

We waited almost two hours for our food, even though the number of waiters and customers suggested it could have arrived sooner. Some of what we ordered never came, and nobody explained or apologized, though those items weren't on the bill. Three stars because Ranca has very few restaurants.

We were really disappointed that the restaurant wouldn't let us dine indoors because we weren't staying at the hotel. It was 10°C, very cold and windy, so we had to eat on the terrace. I wouldn't recommend it to family, friends, or colleagues.

The rooms were clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. There’s free Wi-Fi and parking too. A great place to stay overnight.

Breakfast is included, and the rooms are kept clean. They’re cozy, though only just big enough. The air conditioning remote costs an extra 2 EUR, which was a drawback.
