My attic room was lovely, with air conditioning, a TV, and a mini-fridge, and the bathroom was spotless. The house is quiet and has a garden; there’s also gated parking across the street. It’s a little out of the way, but still close to everything, and you get there after passing Bran Castle. They only provide accommodation, so you need to buy your own food, which was fine.

There are only three tourist attractions, so beyond a day there isn’t really much to do. We also found there was no toilet paper. Maybe they simply forgot, but being caught without any was awful. We had to get it ourselves. I thought at least two or three rolls, or a holder that was stocked, would be basic. I felt embarrassed having to bring it up.
