We went up the mountain to see the fortress, rather than staying at a hotel here. The views were magnificent and the visit was really cool. I did feel the fortress could be made much better and more accessible, but that didn’t spoil the moment.

I had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. The food was delicious, the wine was great and the prices were very reasonable. The menu is huge, so there’s something for everyone. I couldn’t recommend it more.

The food was great, but it took almost two hours just to get soup and papanași. There was only one waiter, and there were clearly too many orders for him to handle. Management should hire more waiters, and maybe another cook too.

The restaurant’s fitout had some of the best workmanship I’ve seen, with amazing attention to detail. The food was good, but not great, and I didn’t finish it wanting more. The beans were tasty, but the chef’s special pork was quite dry. Maybe that’s how it’s meant to be, but it wasn’t to my taste.

The food is good, and don’t miss the Ciorba De Porta, one of the best authentic Romanian dishes. It’s a genuinely authentic restaurant in the hotel, and the staff are helpful and hospitable. The only drawback is the language. The place can accommodate a party of 60 or more.
