The countryside around this place made the stay feel special. The owner is such a lovely woman, and she’s made the place warm and homey. We had a wonderful time.

I’d recommend booking through Booking or another reliable site. We called first because the room prices on Booking weren’t clear. The host explained the cost, then suggested booking by phone because it was easier. I asked for an SMS confirmation, but nothing arrived, so all we had was the verbal promise. A week ahead, they called to confirm, which initially reassured me. Then, just two hours later, they texted that something had come up and our booking was no longer valid. I asked why, but got no reply. In my experience, they weren’t reliable, and booking with this guesthouse could lead to an unpleasant surprise.

A convenient spot right in the center of Rucar, with nearby attractions to visit. The rooms were cozy, clean, and really nice, and there’s a good place to eat too.

Getting there was a little tricky, but it was still well worth the effort. A really nice place.
