The location right by the water is hard to beat, and Delta Marina is well known, so the tour guides and water police all know where it is. That’s about the only good thing I can say. The owners should be ashamed of how they’re treating a place that could have been very nice. There’s no excuse for it. The room was tiny, run down, and not what we’d booked on their own website. The shower cabin wouldn’t close, and plenty of things were falling apart. When we raised the mismatch, they dismissed us. It was also very pricey, and I didn’t feel safe there. The man managing the place was aggressive and unprofessional when I tried to ask a question. He kept cutting me off. Hotel ownership was horrible, unhelpful, and rude. I’ve been traveling around Romania for three months, and this was the worst place we stayed. There are only a few things on the restaurant menu that aren’t fish or meat. Better to eat elsewhere, since Sfântu Gheorghe has many nice restaurants with lots of choices.
