The windows in some rooms opened onto the corridor, so light and noise came in at night and made it hard to sleep. Soundproofing was poor, and the shower cabins were very small in both rooms. We booked two rooms and had a disappointing stay. One had no windows and constant loud noise from the restaurant ventilation until 11 p.m. It was dusty too, especially the pictures above the bed. For the second room, a Deluxe, we requested a baby crib for our child under 2. The staff brought an inflatable mattress instead, which was completely unacceptable. That room had just one very small window facing the neighboring building’s wall about 2 meters away. This was our second stay here, and it will be our last. I definitely wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The room was a mess despite the beautiful lobby. There’s black mold in the shower, the door won’t close, and water ends up all over the bathroom. The drain clogs so fast the shower turns into a bathtub within minutes. The showerhead looks new, but it no longer fits its overhead holder. The mattress feels 100 years old and is hard as concrete. We couldn’t connect to the WiFi because the signal was too weak, and even the smart TV couldn’t connect. A glass door on the minibar means there’s nonstop light in the room at night. Even the caulking around the bathroom sink looks like nobody cares about the guests. It’d take five minutes to remove that cr** and redo it properly.

We paid just a little extra to upgrade, and it was well worth it. The room was lovely, very clean, with a huge comfy bed and a good-sized shower. I can only speak for the room. There wasn’t a kettle, but we asked and they brought one. The location is great, right on the town square.

I travel a lot, and this is one of the best deals I’ve come across. I’d definitely recommend it, and the location is great too.

The rooms are really large, and the place is very clean. The staff are super friendly and helpful. A great fit if you enjoy an authentic medieval style, and the location is excellent.
