We find the location handy for getting around Sibiu, and the rooms are comfortable and fairly quiet. The en-suite glass walls don’t offer much privacy, though. We stay here two or three times a year when stopping over after flying from London. Our flight usually lands around 01.30am, and it’s only a 15-minute drive from the airport, with convenient parking right outside. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, and breakfast is good.

The staff were welcoming, and breakfast was decent. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed. It’s a beautiful building beside a lovely park, which was perfect in spring.

There’s no proper door between the bed and toilet, and the lights didn’t work properly. The blanket was ridiculously tiny, LOL. The place smells like glue, and breakfast is both expensive and not very good. You can get a much better breakfast outside for far less. Even for a week’s stay, you only get two complimentary water bottles.

I stayed in the president apartment. It was clean, but the furniture was very old and the walls looked like they hadn’t been painted in about 20 years. The coffee machine didn’t work, and the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms wasn’t working properly.
