The rooms were comfortable, the service was excellent, and the location was just right. I really enjoyed my visit! The food was a highlight too, especially that soup that looked so delicious.

The service was perfect, and the meal was great. We came for the food, which was fast, delicious, and super authentic. Best restaurant in town!

A few friends recommended this place for its tripe soup, supposedly the star of the menu. The soup was decent, but nothing special. Worse, nobody acknowledged me when I came in. After a few minutes I found a seat at a table where other people were sitting. The waiters were all arrogant, and the beer I ordered never arrived. A strange, unsuccessful visit for me.

The papanasi was a wonderful surprise, really big and good. A 10 for dessert! I was back at the restaurant after seven years, remembering it fondly, but this visit wasn’t the same. The only decent dish was the pork peasant soup, Ciorba taraneasca de porc. The grilled pork neck with cabbage and mititei, Varza calita cu ceafa si mici, was disappointing: the cabbage wasn’t good at all, and the meat was below average.

The waiter was pleasant and attentive, and the portions of tripe soup, ciorba de burta, were generous. We came because of the good reviews and left pleased with the meal. The soup tasted very good, as did the second dish, cow brain fried pane. The rachie, a clear spirit, was flavorful and served in the right amount.
