It’s in a quiet residential area, with the main boulevard close by. The staff were super nice, the bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean. There’s also a bar open from 7 in the morning until 10 at night. Walking from the pension to Sibiu’s old city takes about 20 minutes.

The staff’s behavior was the worst part. They were rude and unprofessional, and made us feel like foolish foreigners. They also wanted to keep our IDs for the whole stay, which was a very strange check-in arrangement. We were in a small, dirty attic room with awful beds, a broken shower, and roof windows that didn’t ventilate the room properly. We’re fairly modest travelers, so those things alone might not have been such a big deal. But then, when it started raining late in the evening, a staff member knocked at our door at 10:40 p.m. to tell us to close the window. There was air conditioning, but they’d “forgotten” to give us the remote, and within minutes we could hardly breathe in there. Totally disappointing, the worst accommodation we had in all of Romania, after traveling across nearly the whole country.

They aren’t reliable. They gave me misleading information, and after I booked, there was a 99% chance they’d call to cancel the reservation because of all the errors in their administration system.

A cool place, and the best part is that it’s next to the Stables from Sibiu, Baza Hipica Hipodrom :))
