The rooms were clean and the breakfast was tasty. The hotel felt cosy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I'd recommend staying here.

The location was good, a short distance from the center. But breakfast was poor, with little choice and croissants that weren't baked through. We stayed two nights, and the heating didn't work. We told the staff on the first morning, but they only came to fix it just before we checked out on the second day. I wish I'd read the reviews more carefully before booking.

The breakfast selection was good, though with so many guests it was hard to get to, and they kept running out of food. The hotel is right in the centre of Sibiu, and our small room was comfortable. Parking in the courtyard felt very secure, since all the cars and motorbikes were packed in so tightly that nobody could get out without the other guests cooperating. Getting out the next morning was a challenge for most of us.

We liked the location and found the room clean and cosy, though it was quite small. The towels were clean and white but worn. At breakfast, some things kept running out: on some mornings there was no bread until guests asked for it, and at other times the omelet was missing. It was also hard to find a free, clean table, so we cleared away dirty dishes ourselves, as did other guests. We booked through Booking, which listed an iron, but reception said they couldn't provide one. It felt like the issue was a lack of willingness to bring it, rather than the iron being unavailable. Staff handled most things slowly and without much enthusiasm, which left us disappointed with the service.
