Vila Bel Ami

The price felt a bit high for what you get. There was no AC, the bathroom was small, and there was no fridge. The fridge they had wasn't even worth mentioning. There was no view either, since people walking outside could see into the room. They may not have meant to look in, but that was definitely horrible for a bedroom. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

The room was spacious and cosy, and the area was quiet. The host communicated well. It's easy to reach by car, with a large shopping area and gas stations nearby. The city center is only a few minutes away by car.

It was unprofessional. On the day we left, the owner didn't come to see us off or collect the money, and sent her father again to take it. She also never told us in advance that the room we booked wasn't available. We wouldn't have minded a change if she'd let us know, but during several phone calls she only said we should call ahead so her father knew we were coming. The place we ended up staying in was tidy, and we could park our cars in the yard, which was a real plus. But the house was poorly soundproofed. Even from the kitchen, we could hear everything in the bedroom, with the bathroom between the two rooms.

A clean, affordable place to sleep near Sibiu, about 10 minutes from the city center by car. The rooms are small, but laid out like studios with a bed, kitchenette, and bathroom. There was a parking lot, TV, WiFi, electric stove, coffee maker, crockery, towels, shower gel, and soap. The place itself was lovely, on a paved street with old houses all around. During the day, you could hear a noise from the courtyard, maybe from a small mill nearby.
