Vila Sibiu

The owners are kind and caring, and the breakfast was good, with excellent coffee and lots of egg dishes. The rooms are gorgeous, very tidy and clean, and there’s secured parking included. Prices felt completely appropriate. It’s a lovely hotel in the heart of Sibiu that met all our needs. We’re already looking forward to coming back and can only recommend it.

The staff were very warm, breakfast was very good, and the location was excellent. Some home-baked bread at breakfast would be nice. The hallway noise carries easily into the room, and although the furniture looked stylish, it wasn’t very practical.

The only real downside was the bathroom. The toilet was mounted so high that I had to use my suitcase to climb onto it, and even my boyfriend, who’s 186 cm tall, found it a bit high. Otherwise, the welcome was warm and the service always came with a smile. The charming building isn’t modern, but the rooms and whole house were incredibly clean, without a speck of dust, and Wi-Fi was free. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with eggs, coffee and tea made fresh for us. Our car was in private parking that gets closed off at night. Definitely worth every euro.

A small, pleasant guesthouse apartment with free parking and an old-fashioned country style. It’s about a 10-minute walk from downtown and works well for a few days. Just keep in mind there’s no elevator, so getting bags up to the second floor can be a little difficult.
