The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and there was plenty to do, from carolers and singers to dancing and a campfire. We spent Christmas here with family and loved every minute. Marinela and the whole staff clearly cared about their work. Her dedication showed every day, and the quality of the food and everything else made that obvious. We were so impressed and can’t wait to come back. Thank you ❤️

The setting in the heart of Maramureș makes it easy to enjoy the mountains, nearby monasteries, and other one-of-a-kind outings. We’ve just spent Christmas here with family and are already looking forward to returning. Marinela and her family are warm, generous hosts who do all they can to make guests comfortable, and the food was wonderful. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Pensiunea Marinela to anyone wanting to experience Romanian traditions.

Breakfast is homemade by the owner, and the price is really good. From Sighetu there are plenty of places to visit in Maramures, and the Ukrainian border is just a 10-minute drive away. One of the best B&Bs I’ve stayed in in Romania, without a doubt.

The traditional food was really good, and the rooms were clean and tidy. Everyone was friendly, and the location was great. Families with kids will like the playground across the river.

It was really nice and traditional, and I liked it a lot. They even dressed me and my little sisters in traditional clothes.
