Casa Bertha

Simon and his lovely wife made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Their hotel is beautifully refurbished, clean, and right by the famous square. Every morning they put out a delicious breakfast with all kinds of treats. I'm already looking forward to coming back to visit this lovely little town.

We stayed in room number 4, Breasla Tamplarilor, which you can see in the attached photos. It was spacious and very clean, with a king-sized bed and beautiful decor. From the window you can see the patio, where guests can have breakfast or sit and talk, as long as they keep their voices down for others. The owners make the breakfast themselves, and it was fantastic. Downstairs there's an antique shop full of things to browse, which I recommend visiting. You can't park in the citadel, but there's a city parking lot quite close by. Big thumbs up to the owners. There's more I could say, but I don't want to spoil the experience. We'll come back to Casa Bertha.

The rooms were comfortable and pleasant, but what made our stay was the way the owners treated us. They were so generous and welcoming that it felt like staying with family, almost to the point where we felt bad accepting so much. It really felt like a home away from home.

We'd love to visit Casa Bertha again. The hosts were always friendly and ready to help, and the rooms and surroundings were wonderful, far beyond what we had imagined.
