Hotel Regina

The bathroom was nice, and the rooms were comfortable and cozy. The place has an old-fashioned, wooden style that some people might like, and the staff were polite, though they couldn't answer any of my questions. Breakfast was the letdown. It was missing a lot, and we were told to carry our food to the restaurant if we wanted to eat there. It was meant to start at 8, but the first plates came much later. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you need to leave in the morning.

At checkout, after breakfast, the card wasn't working, so we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to open the room. Then the receptionist asked us to leave a good review on booking and told us about a woman who got 1 star after wanting to smoke in the room, with the comment, "Do you smoke in your bed, home?" There were problems in the room too: some lights didn't work, with wires exposed on one, and there was no hairdryer. Water and Pepsi cans were only available in some rooms. They moved us and asked us to make sure the shower was fully shut. There was no sound insulation, and the lines were stained. Those things are why I gave it 2 stars.

The hotel's design and interior are nice, and the staff were polite. Everything else was okay, though there weren't enough towels in the room, but you could ask for more. There's only one hairdryer for all the rooms, so you have to request it at reception.

The location was decent and breakfast was free, but the rooms felt very dated and worn. There was no A/C and only a limited set of amenities. Average at best, and okay for a short stay if you can't find a better option.
