We could hear the nearby river while eating on the terrace, and the forest setting felt idyllic. The hotel is also handy for getting around: the city centre, train station, Dimitrie Ghica park (Sinaia Casino), the Monastery of Sinaia, Peleș and Pelișor Castles are all about a 10-minute walk away. Our room was cosy and comfortable, the food was good, and the prices for both meals and accommodation seemed fair. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our stay.

We paid about 54 lei per menu, if I remember right, and the portions included soup, meat with potatoes, salad and dessert. The food was delicious, and I think this is the best place to eat near Peleș Castle. There are five menus, including a vegetarian one, I think. The restaurant is surrounded by nature, and our waitress was really kind and helpful. Amazing!

The mountain setting is beautiful, and Peleș Castle is about a 10-minute walk away. Staff were nice and breakfast tasted good, though the portions felt a little small. The rooms were pretty ordinary for a three-star hotel. Our main issue was the cold: it was early December, and they only started heating the rooms when we checked in. Two people in our group caught a cold.

We could hear the river nearby from this forest setting. The food was delicious, and the staff were very nice.

We were left waiting at our table for half an hour without anyone from the staff coming over. They seemed completely down, and the way we were treated felt disrespectful. The food was more like buffet cars’, and the cappuccino was made from Nescafe powder, which I found disgraceful. It was really disappointing to find such a below-average restaurant in such a beautiful venue and house.
