We were cold the whole time, even though the heating was on. Staff could adjust it room by room, and it felt like saving money mattered more than guest comfort. We slept under two blankets and still felt chilly. Even the bathroom sink water was ice cold. It was snowing outside, and the room felt just as cold as outdoors. They also asked us to cover our shoes with plastic bags so we wouldn't dirty the carpets, even though our shoes were clean. I got caught out by the bags and slipped on the stairs. The owner talked us into canceling our booking through a booking site in return for a small discount, which felt shady. We wanted to pay by card, but he insisted on cash. We asked about a late checkout and were willing to pay since the room hadn't been booked by anyone else. The owner refused because he didn't want to call the cleaners at another time. When we came back for our luggage, they still hadn't cleaned the room. It was an unpleasant stay, and we paid for basic comfort like heating but didn't get it. The owners seemed focused solely on profit.

We spent our mornings on the downstairs terrace, enjoying coffee and the mountain view. The place is close to the city centre but tucked into a quiet area, and everything inside was clean, comfortable, and tastefully furnished. Our room felt really cosy. The owner welcomed us warmly and shared useful tips about the city, supermarkets, shops, restaurants, and bars, which made our trip more interesting. This is a very well run boutique hotel, and the owners deserve congratulations. I'd definitely recommend it. Thank you, Mr. Albu, for going the extra mile to make our stay so pleasant!

I slept really well, and our room stayed cool even though it was very hot outside. The host was warm and welcoming, and the room was more than big enough for me, my toddler, and our things. We'll definitely come back.

The owners built this hotel themselves over the last few years, using their own resources, and you can see the care in it. The materials are very good quality and expensive. It's a brand new, super clean place with eight individually different rooms. The location is very good too, about a 15-minute walk to Peles Castle and close to the city centre.
