The good parts were the view, fast internet, and cleanliness of the apartment. That’s about it. Getting there without a car was difficult: GPS and the directions were confusing, Uber drivers refused to come, and a taxi would cost a ridiculous amount. It’s also far from Bucharest and other towns, and getting anywhere takes forever. The bed was rock hard, and the couch that was meant to serve as a bed creaked with every movement. Sleeping was a nightmare. There was constant noise, with dogs barking at night and construction during the day, plus strange sounds inside the room. You could hear the neighbors as if they were right there, so there was no privacy or peace. The room stayed freezing, which makes it unsuitable for fall or winter. There was hardly any storage, so the place felt cramped and messy. On top of all that, the host sent messages at absurd hours, which felt completely unprofessional and unacceptable. The stay was frustrating from beginning to end, and the apartment wasn’t worth the time or money.
