We had to unplug either the TV or the fridge to use an outlet, and the furniture was poor quality and not very attractive. There was a moldy smell. The restaurant has only a few indoor tables, and when we visited, a private party had them, while outside was too full of mosquitos for us to have dinner. We could only manage lunch, which tasted very good. The wine was a good choice, and the waitress knew her stuff. It’s by the water, close to where the boat reaches shore.

The place looks great, but getting what you order feels like a gamble. We changed our orders three times because they kept telling us they were out of things, even though fresh fish was what we’d been looking forward to. Then we ordered “farmer's fries/cartofi țărănești” and got regular fries. The explanation was that they’d run out of the farmer’s fries and figured we’d have ordered normal fries anyway. That was the most obnoxious part.

We were five, three adults and two children, and waited an hour with a few complaints before we could place our order. Bread and “musdei” (white garlic souce) came half an hour later. The children were so hungry they had to eat that while we waited roughly two more hours for the food. The meal was disappointing: my fried potato portion was smaller than everyone else’s, the chicken wasn’t cooked well, and one dish had no taste and looked bad. They did try to fix things, but only with limited success. The bill arrived after three hours in total. The oil on the table was expired too. It’s expensive and there’s no service to speak of. Forget this place.
