Citadella House Targu Mures

Really good.

The central location was fine, but the booking itself was a very different story. We chose and paid for two separate bedrooms with their own beds because Booking.com explicitly listed them, which mattered to us. On arrival, there was only one bedroom available. The other room, visible from the courtyard, was locked, so we ended up using a sofa bed in the living room instead. When I called the owner, he wasn't willing to help. He said he'd renovated and that these were the two bedrooms we had booked, even though one was clearly a living room with a sofa. Rather than sort it out, he told us to leave immediately, despite our having paid for two nights. I found that unprofessional and unscrupulous. The mismatch between the listing and what we actually got felt deceptive and showed a serious lack of transparency and fairness. I don't think it respects the trust people place in a rental platform. I'd suggest checking the actual setup carefully and asking for written confirmation beforehand if possible. I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it. My low rating is for the misleading arrangement and the owner's response, not the central location.

The host was kind, the place was clean, and the location worked well. I found a free parking spot right outside the apartment.

We felt at home here and would happily return. The host was ready to help whenever needed, and even let us check in much earlier than the scheduled time. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the apartment was thoughtfully arranged with lovely attention to detail. It's also very close to the center. Thank you for hosting us, Mr. Maior!
