Country Court

We had a great stay and found the place easily after booking by email. The team kept checking in and was attentive to what we needed. There’s plenty of parking, fresh air, and it’s about 15 km from the City, a 20-25 minute drive. The rooms are cozy, and the sweets were excellent. Breakfast costs extra and has to be requested. They offer four kinds, and the food and service were both excellent, with helpful suggestions from the staff. Great food, lovely rooms, and a spectacular team. We’re looking forward to coming back.

The extra charge for our dog felt excessive, especially since we’d stayed in Europe for two weeks and changed hotels every night. The most we’d been charged elsewhere was 8 euros, if anything. Our dog caused no damage, didn’t bark, stayed on the floor overnight, and did everything outside the property. I don’t see a reason for a penalty, and the whole thing left me feeling they weren’t trustworthy. We’d told them about the dog before arriving and were initially told there’d be no extra cost. Even during the stay, they continued to say dogs were accepted without a fee, but then wrote to us saying we had to pay 15 euros. The room itself was a bit dated and dirty. Service was fine, and the man at reception was friendly and helpful.

The beds could be more comfortable, but otherwise we had a great experience. The rooms have a romantic, boutique feel and are nicely designed. The place is neat, the food is good, the location is great, and the staff are lovely. I’d recommend it.

The staff were lovely and ready to help with anything we needed, but I’d come for the restaurant rather than the room. We only needed somewhere to sleep, so didn’t get to experience the pension’s well-known hospitality at the restaurant. Our room was clean and organized, though very small. I had trouble with the shower, and the window opened onto the hallway, where someone could look in or even climb through if it was left open. Staff: *****. Accommodation: ***.
