Hotel Restaurant Alesia

The room is cosy and has what you need to relax and sleep, and the prices are great. The restaurant was amazing, one of the best meals I've ever had. I'd happily come back and totally recommend it.

The location wasn't great because of the traffic noise, but the food was amazing. The rooms were clean too, and the staff were very nice.

The rooms are spacious and nice, the food is very good, and the staff are friendly. But it's 7 km from the centre, and the nicest modern rooms face the road, so they're noisy. The refrigerator didn't work and was empty anyway. Events are held every day, which means you can't eat in the restaurant. During our four days there, the cleaner never came in to take out the rubbish or clean the room.

This place seems better suited to events than to a hotel stay. My room was near the restaurant and the noise at 1 am kept me from sleeping. They charged 10 euros for the dog on a 30-euro room, a third of the total. It felt odd, since at a 4-star hotel in Bucharest, Romania's capital, I paid 50 euros for the room and only 10 lei for the dog. Here at Alesia, I didn't get a fiscal receipt, so who knows who decided on that price.
