Pensiunea Imperial

The setup worked well for six of us: three single beds in each room meant we didn't need to book a third room. We also had a good view, and the parking was handy for our road trip. The town centre is about a 15-minute walk away, though the hill is quite steep. Rooms were plain, and it was a bit strange that some windows had no curtains. There's a small bar and a decent breakfast. The little pool at the back looked a bit odd, but it was there as an option.

The person working there was really nice and helpful. The room had air conditioning, which is the main reason I'm giving it three stars. The furniture, bathroom, and doors were all very old, and there were lots of wasps when sitting outside. Breakfast was the worst I've ever had, so I didn't go again after the first day.

The room was very spacious, and the night view was lovely. During the day, though, we missed having drapes at the window. Getting to the pension means walking up a steep hill. Breakfast was acceptable, the staff were nice, and I felt the prices could be lower.

The room was clean, but the furniture felt so worn that sitting on the bed or opening things made me worry they might break. It was around 0°C at night, and there was no heating, so we were freezing. Breakfast had very little choice. For what the place offers and what the photos suggest, it felt overpriced. I'd look for another option, or pay a little more to stay somewhere better.
