Casa La Fayette

Everything was well organized and the stay was really pleasant. There wasn’t a host on site, but I could reach them by text and got a quick reply. It’s also good value for money and just a short drive from the city centre.

I stayed in May and found the room clean, comfortable, and nice. The location was fine too, with a bus stop about 200 metres from the house that takes you to the city centre. Check-in is online because nobody is there to open the door. I didn’t mind, though some people might find it difficult. There’s also a terrace smoking area.

A bottle of water and two coffee pods were waiting for us, and the coffee tasted really good the next morning. There was no host there, but they sent excellent instructions for getting into the property. The bathroom works, though it looks very worn and should be renovated. All in all, a good place.

The restaurant food was good, but the service was awful. I spent one night at this pension, and the room was a little messy with a very small bathroom. The water pressure was low and it took ages to get warm. Once it finally did, the hot water only lasted a few minutes. After two minutes in the shower, I was hit with freezing cold water.
