We were tired after arriving in Timisoara around 6 pm on our way through Romania to Hungary, so we decided to stop for the night. Finding May Residence worked out really well. I’d booked a room with two single beds and one double, and the communication was superb. Since we checked in after 10 pm, they sent all the details, including the WiFi and room key codes, over WhatsApp. The room was beautiful, very clean, and had comfortable beds, plus free parking. Breakfast was lovely, with tasty feta omelets, vegetables, Romanian salad, mozzarella and a few other things. The kids were happy to find yogurt and a couple of desserts. There’s a nice garden that made the place feel like home, and the people were very friendly with good service. Thank you.

I liked how quiet it was, and the rooms were comfortable. The back garden is lovely, too. There’s free parking with CCTV and free EV charging, plus a gorgeous patio. I’d recommend the place for a business trip or a family stay.

Breakfast was fine, nothing special, and the bed was OK. I only stayed one night. The room felt bare for what it cost, and the place doesn’t offer good value for money. It also looked dated, and there was a bad smell in the bathroom, possibly because the ventilation filter needed replacing. For the price I was asked to pay, I expected a lot more.

The parking at the back is pretty tight, though it felt generally safe, and the WiFi worked very well. The rooms were in perfect condition, and both the owner and staff were professional. The woman serving breakfast was especially kind and friendly. Just excellent.

I’ve stayed here more than once and would recommend it. The atmosphere is relaxing, the breakfast is excellent, and the rooms, towels and linens are all clean. The people are always friendly and polite, and ready to help whenever you need them.
