The room price matches the basic quality. The rooms need some TLC, and the shower took ages to get hot. The cubicle was also the smallest I’ve ever seen. Staff were friendly, but spoke very little English. Breakfast was basic, with only water to drink. They can offer coffee, but you have to ask since there’s no way to make it yourself. A pot of coffee would be better. It’s a bit out of the center, and the main road is busy and noisy. With the balcony door shut, the room was quiet from the road, but the internal walls are thin and you can hear everything your neighbours do. It’s a cheap place to stay, but I wouldn’t stay more than a night or two.

I’ve never had a worse night in a hotel. A wedding on the third floor had music blaring until 5 am. From our second floor room, it felt like the music was playing right inside it. We complained, but staff showed no reaction or understanding. Never again!

Nine of us from YORK, Pennsylvania, USA spent a week in Timisoara, staying at Hotel Neon. The rooms were clean, breakfast was EXCELLENT, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s a shopping mall a few blocks away, with banks, snack kiosks and a public bus stop nearby too. Highly recommend the hotel. We look forward to staying there next time we come to Timisoara. MULTUMESC!!

The rooms weren’t clean, and the hotel didn’t seem very serious. The owner cancelled one of our reservations without any explanation, simply because he wanted to. It seems he can cancel a reservation just because he feels like it.

Breakfasts are good, and the staff are pleasant. The location is good too. Sometimes, though, you have to wake a receptionist to get them to make you a coffee.
