I’ve only eaten here, and the food was very good, mostly traditional dishes. Their terrace is lovely in summer, especially for grilled items, which are their specialty.

The rooms are very clean, and the solid wood furniture adds a lot to their quality. Room conditions vary, though, with different views and noise levels, and some rooms get smells from the kitchen in the evening. The restaurant food is great, with fresh, good-quality pork and beef from their own butchery. Staff are friendly most of the time. It’s a well-known pension and restaurant in Timisoara, and a good option for a few nights on a business trip. Just be aware that weekend parties can run late and disturb your sleep.

Rooms are comfortable and clean, and this is one of my favorite places to stay in Timisoara. It’s a small boutique hotel in a quiet, pleasant part of town, with an excellent restaurant. There’s an H Market (Carrefour) across the street, Lidl is a short walk the other way, and the streetcar stops right outside for an easy ride downtown.

The only drawback for me was breakfast, which starts quite early, around 7-9am or so. Otherwise, there’s plenty to enjoy: spacious rooms, a spa, sauna and swimming pool are all included. For the price, it compares with ordinary places around the city but gives you a luxury stay at no extra cost. A great place to stay in TM. Have fun.
