The villa and its surroundings are nice, and the rooms were beautifully decorated. They weren’t very warm, but they were okay. Cleanliness was middling, neither particularly clean nor dirty. There were lots of kids, and the noise meant we had to get up early. We played board games in the kitchen and stayed up late, but the owner asked us the next day to keep quiet even though we hadn’t been making disturbing noise. She also kept reminding us to turn off the lights, scolded us because we left one on overnight, and basically asked for extra money to use the kitchen and living area.

The bathroom shower cabin was poorly equipped and should be bigger. I also would have liked a dishwasher and the option to have meals, especially breakfast, since there’s no store for about 2 km. There’s a huge, nicely decorated common area with mirrors, big enough for all the guests. Both yards have swings, kids’ toys, benches, and a barbecue. Our double superior room was clean and cosy, with a 200x180 matrimonial bed and good heating. The posted house rules help keep a decent atmosphere. The owners work hard: they cleared a meter of snow from the yard before we got up. Parking fits up to 10 cars, and the free WiFi worked even in bad weather. There’s also a baby seat for the table. A nice villa for someone looking for a quiet mountain stay.

The owners seem focused only on profit, with lots of restrictions, including rules about using the villa’s kitchen and extra heating in rooms. Parking is limited, and there’s nowhere nearby to park if the lot is full. Even then, the owners still need to keep their own car in the lot. The rooms need a thorough cleaning. The bathroom furniture is old and rusty, there are mold stains in the shower, and the blanket and pillows have lots of stains. The room furniture looks kitschy, with supposed luxury items thrown together with cheap melamine pieces and no design sense.

We rented the whole villa and had a great time. The location is good, the air is lovely, and breakfast was good.
