The horse show was amazing, but the meal that came with the visit was one of my worst restaurant experiences. We had two children under three with us, yet waited more than 30 minutes before anyone took our order. Then another hour passed with nothing on the table, and nobody explained or apologized for the delay. When food finally started coming, the main course arrived before the starter. Our drinks were mixed up, with beer replaced by tea and passion fruit lemonade by mint lemonade. Three dishes weren’t written down by the waiter, so they never came at all. What we did get was terrible. The beef tartare was disgusting and inedible, oddly served with croutons. The fattoush was just a careless bowl of random greens, without flavor or anything like a real fattoush. After an hour and a half, we still didn’t have our full order. The food that arrived was late, wrong, or not fit to eat, and no one seemed to notice or try to make things right. For a restaurant that had just opened, this was a bad start. The service was slow, orders were wrong or missing, the food was awful, and there was no accountability. I wouldn’t spend my time, money, or patience here, especially with children.

The horses and their show were the highlight of my stay at ISSA Resort. Seeing them perform with such strength and grace was mesmerizing, almost like being in a fairytale. You can tell how much the trainers care about them, and it makes the experience feel special. The resort itself is peaceful and picturesque, with a magical atmosphere. My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with every detail considered. The service was warm and professional, and I felt cared for throughout my stay. I left feeling happy and already hoping to come back.

I’d gladly return for a relaxing week without needing to go anywhere else. This hotel is a real hidden gem, and I almost don’t want to share it. The setting is lovely and quiet, among rolling hills, horses, vineyards, and sheep. It’s around 30-40 minutes from Cluj and within walking distance of the Salt Mine. The hotel had opened just a few months earlier, and everything in the rooms felt new. The layout works well, and the beds and pillows were among the best I’ve had, even compared with many five-star hotels. There are lots of light switches, though, and they can get confusing. Use the room tablet for the lights. It also controls the curtains and Do Not Disturb, and shows who’s at the door through the camera. Service was great everywhere, from the front desk and restaurant to the people involved with the show and lessons. We booked a car through the hotel, and it was a top-notch luxury car with a driver who works there. You can tell they care about service throughout. Since the hotel had only recently opened, mention any problems if you have them. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were both great. We’d planned to eat out, but liked the restaurant enough to stay in. The cocktails were good, and the wine selection was terrific. The show had only been running for a couple of months, but you’d never know. I recommend seeing it if you’re staying here or get the chance. They also have carriage rides through the vineyards and riding lessons, both worth trying. There are pools, pickleball courts, and play areas for kids too. I didn’t get to check them out, but they looked great. A must if you’re visiting Turda or even Cluj. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

We stopped for lunch and had a great experience. The restaurant has a spacious terrace, striking new interiors, and tables in different sizes for couples or larger groups. There’s a broad drinks selection, plenty of parking, and the cars are secured. I also noticed various activities and accommodation on site, though this review is just about the restaurant visit. It’s clearly a luxury place, and prices are a little high by Romanian standards, but you get what you pay for. The service was spot on, the food was very good, and the latte was one of the best I’ve had. The pasta was freshly made and the burgers looked amazing and tasted great. Even the crockery and cutlery made it feel like a high-class place. The restrooms were amazing too. I’d definitely go back to try more food, and recommend it.

I came for the horse show, which was one of the most impressive things I’ve seen in this area, and honestly anywhere. It’s incredible and, in my opinion, a must-see. At the time of my review, shows were held on weekends only. I didn’t stay at the resort, but the location and design were lovely, and it’s clear they spared no expense on quality. After the show, I had lunch at the restaurant. The beef tartare and risotto were both very good, and the staff treated us nicely. It seems like a great spot for a weekend getaway.
