Artelier Vama Veche

The waiters were careless, and the prices are enormous. Last year I ordered sushi and never got it. This year, sushi isn't on the menu. A “menu” of chicken fingers costs 50 lei and includes only the fingers, with no fries or other garnishes. A full meal costs twice as much as that “menu”.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the food wasn't great: portions were small, the dishes weren't anything special, and there weren't many vegetarian choices. The rooms were clean, nice, and air-conditioned, which was really necessary, and they matched the pictures. Reception was a bit late when we arrived during the day, but she was nice and available every morning after that.

The breakfast was basic but good, and the small bathroom was enough for a weekend, though it was a little tight. Rooms were clean and the place is near the seaside. The restaurant has a small menu, but everything we ordered was amazing. I'd definitely come back.

The location is close to the beach and very quiet, and the hotel was good value for money. Our room matched the pictures, with a reasonably large balcony, a table, and two chairs. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The restaurant was closed during our stay. Special thanks to the friendly reception staff member who offered to make us coffee in the morning.
