The views are breathtaking, and it’s a great place to recharge. For the first time, I heard the sound of eagle wings as they flew. The staff add to the experience: the chef and her assistant make art with the food. Try the veal ciorba and local specialties! Getting there can be difficult for some drivers, which is the one downside. The facility offers a transfer from a parking area at the start of the access road. The isolation also means you can really rest.

The location is nice, but it wasn’t as fancy as advertised, and the prices didn’t feel justified. The road shown on Google Maps is awful and not manageable in a regular car. Everything seemed expensive, including dinner, which was a buffet and not very good. We paid quite a lot for it, and there aren’t other places to eat nearby. The walls are extremely thin, and the road itself isn’t in great condition.

The location is superb, and the place itself is nice. The receptionist seemed pleasant too. But the stay was really disappointing. One of our group got sick the day before we arrived, and we let them know. They said he’d still have to pay for everything. We could understand paying for the room, but paying for buffet breakfasts and dinners that hadn’t even been cooked yet? It was going to be -3 degrees overnight on arrival day, but the hotel staff said they wouldn’t heat the place. We had to call and argue with the owner because it was so cold. The employees acted like the Grumpy Old Men, saying we couldn’t do this or that. The first night they told us to go to our rooms at 12am, even though we were only talking. We weren’t allowed to drink our own beverages if they weren’t on the menu, and at first they wouldn’t even let us take glasses outside. The food was overpriced too, especially since it wasn’t a la carte.

The views were amazing, the rooms were nice, and the staff were friendly. The downside was the wait for dessert: we ordered only that, but it took 2hours. They said they had a lot of orders and made the desserts last.
